So BMW is coming out with a new Diesel platform. The 5 series are getting Twin-Turbo engines which will ge them pretty close to the BMW M5 specifications and power. The new 5 series M Models were caught in Video and they look mighty good!

The new diesel models include:
- BMW 5 Series M550d Saloon
- BMW 5 Series M550d Touring
- BMW X5 M50d
- BMW X6 M50d
- BMW 5 Series M Diesel X5M and X6M

The BMW X5 M50d and BMW X6 M50d are really bringing serious performance upgrades to the trucks. The new engines now can rocket the BMW M50d and M50d Diesels from 0-60mph in around 5 seconds. But even faster are the 5 series diesel with huge torque figures from low rpm range they will clock the 4.5 seconds mark from 0-60mph for the BMW 5 Series M550d Touring and BMW 5 Series M550d Salo0n which can also come equipped with the xDrive 4 wheel drive system.
As far as the BMW 5 Series M550d Saloon and Touring models go they are getting super close to the comfort and performance of the new Twin Turbo BMW M5.
